Ave produced just 75 cases of this wine from the infamous west-facing Howell Mountain AVA in Napa Valley. The wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and aged in two species of 100% new French Oak. The deep flavors of this mountain fruit reveal notes of extracted black cherry, brambly fruit, black olive, cola, young vine-ripe berries, hints of black pepper and sassafras in a "jammy" finish.
